Krystin's Story

Life I recently finished my B.S. in Electrical Engineering at San Diego State University. Graduated in May 2001. (Finally) I will probably pursue my M.S. and PhD in Biomedical Engineering at UCSD, Purdue, or Univ. of Wash. Meanwhile, I'm working for Linkabit (part of Titan Corp.) in La Jolla as a Digital Signal Processing Engineer. ************************ UPDATE... wow... that was a while ago... I'm still in S.D. Haven't finished that darned master's yet... My last job sucked bad... now I work at an awesome start-up in Sorrento Valley called Quorum Systems as a Systems Engineer/Digital Design Engineer... Family still in Ramona... I visit very frequently... travelling a bit... etc. Life is Good :-) I now live back in Ramona, I practically live at Packards! Yeah, nothing beats a hometown coffee shop! Starbucks can go to ... Oh yeah, I still go out to the River a lot, and spend a lot of time in the Mission Bay, too. If it sunny, I'm probably in PB somewhere studying... Highlights: Vice President , Professional Development IEEE (The Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers) San Diego State University ! attended IEEE 1999 Southwestern States Regional conference as a student representative, as well as the local leadership conference in 2000 (1999-2000) Special Events Coordinator SWE (The Society of Women Engineers) ! will attend 2001 SWE regional leadership conference as a student representative for SDSU.
